Pathibhara is one of the holy temples located in the hills of Taplejung. Pathibhara-Temple also known as (Mukkumlung) is one of the most significant temples on the hills of Taplejung district of Province No 1, Nepal at a height of 3794 meters and an altitude of the temple is 3658m from sea level. Pathivara temple is believed to be one of the Shakti Peeths in Hindu mythology with numerous travelers from Nepal and India coming to pay their homage every year. Not only do common people visit Pathibhara Devi, but also the Royal family also visits it. Its Believed that Goddess Pathibhara fulfills the dreams of her devotees, Bless sons for those without sons, & wealth for the poor. The pilgrims sacrifice animals Like (He Goat, ducks, Hens, and Parrot) and bring gold and silver as offerings to the Pathibhara Devi. The best time to visit the Pathibhara temple is from March throughout to June and September to November with a thick forest eco-system along the trail that offers you a variant diversity of wildlife, birds, flowers, and butterflies.
