Boudhanath Stupa is a massive mandala (a geometric design representing the universe) with a dome-shaped structure at its center. It's a sacred pilgrimage center for all the Buddhist devotees around the globe. The eyes of Buddha on the Stupa represent the eyes of wisdom.

The Swayambhunath stupa is a large, ancient dome-shaped structure with a spire on top, painted with the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha on each side. Due to the huge number of monkeys around, it is also known as the Monkey Temple.

After exploring these UNESCO-listed World Heritage Sites, you drive back to the hotel and prepare for the trekking. If you still need to buy some gear, it's a good time. Overnight at the hotel.
